All Conference selections for Girls’ Basketball and Academic Bowl were made over the weekend.

Anna Broski and Georgia Ballard made the All-Conference Academic Team.

For Girls’ Basketball, senior, Anna Broski was selected as 1st team All-Conference. “Throughout her Career at SVHS, Anna Broski has been an example for what all student-athletes should strive towards. Anna’s impact this season transcended athletics and demonstrated to everyone that with hard work… you can excel at the highest levels athletically and academically. Earning a selection to the BNC All-Conference 1st Team is a huge honor and is a testament of how highly all the conference coaches thought about her. The Coaching Staff is proud of Anna’s achievements and look forward to watching her continued success in College,” Says Stillman Valley Head Coach Bobby Mellon.

Freshman, Georgia Ballard was selected as Honorable Mention. Mellon states, “Being selected to any of the BNC All-Conference Teams is a difficult thing to achieve as a player, but especially as a freshman. It’s no surprise that Georgia stepped up this season for our team in countless ways and being selected All-Conference is a great recognition of this fact. With three more seasons in the program, we are excited to watch her grow as an athlete, student, and leader.”

Senior, Samuel Winter was selected for the 1st team BNC All-Conference Academic Bowl Team.  Austin Mayberry, senior, was selected to the 2nd team.

“I am very proud to see Samuel and Austin recognized in this very competitive conference for the dedication and talent that they bring to our team,” states John Vos, Stillman Valley Academic Bowl Advisor.
