The ladder of a fire truck towered high above the Immanuel Lutheran Church grounds as fire trucks and engines, police cars, booths, bounce houses, and food vendors filled the church grounds while guests’ vehicles filled every space in the parking lot.

 
 

Second Annual Build-A–Bike Family Night is a success

The first ever Build-a-Bike event at Manley’s Belvidere Ford-Lincoln last year was a rousing success with 40 kids receiving new bicycles.

Sgt. P’s Lapghans for Veterans group works year-round in knitting, crocheting, or sewing wheelchair-friendly afghans and blankets for veterans in Boone and surrounding counties in Illinois and Wisconsin.

 
 

Make-A-Wish and Belvidere Central surprise student battling cancer

In January of 2017, Natalie Pace of Poplar Grove, and a student at Belvidere Central Middle School, was diagnosed with osteosarcoma, a type of bone cancer that requires a lengthy series of treatments.
