New cardiac monitors arrive at Win-Bur-Sew

The Win-Bur-Sew Fire Protection District recently received new Zoll Series X cardiac monitors. The Fire District will use the new more advanced cardiac monitors to replace out dated and no longer maintenance supported monitors they had purchased in 2008.

On Tuesday, May 8, the Belvidere High School took the time to honor outstanding athletes. Friends and family gathered in the Performing Arts Center with the teams to cheer them in their accomplishments.

Today is the day the crossing guards have their picnic

	Ken Nettleton (in purple) is delighted that the Crossing Guard Picnic he started 50 years ago is still going strong to celebrate kids who help other kids in Boone County.

Anyone who passed by the Boone County Fairgrounds on Tuesday, May 8 would have seen school buses, Belvidere Police Dept. vehicles, and Boone County Sheriff’s Dept. cars. The occasion was the 50th Annual Crossing Guard Picnic.
